The Harbour House Hotel - Portpatrick

It was truly a very enjoyable stay during first night of stay, the hotel met the purpose. We had a sea view and a kettle, central heating and iron/ironing board. Marvellous location and overall the staff was excellent and accommodating. Moreover, it's close enough to the pub and restaurant and conservatory and local shops.

Delicious breakfast with a meat free sausage, with amazing food.

During our two-night stay, the staff were friendly and even catered to our dog, great to enjoy meals in the bar area. The room was clean and spacious, with a lovely view of the harbour from our apartment. Breakfast was disappointing-porridge was inedible and the bedroom lighting was too dim were nice. Despite these downsides, the cute atmosphere and dog-friendly policies were great.

Fantastic views of the harbour. Clean, spacious room with a comfortable bed. Local beer on tap adds to the charm of the place.

The second-floor room felt shabby and in need of a serious update. Noisy late-night music from the restaurant made it hard to sleep, and the breakfast left much to be desired-overcooked eggs and lackluster sausages. The experience felt disjointed, with amenities not entirely up to par.

Fine views, cute staff.

Loved the beachfront location and our well-equipped family room. The staff were friendly, especially for our little one playing at the nearby beach.

In my wife's opinion, the menu could be more kid-friendly with options tailored for children.

Stunning views from my room, made every moment special! 🌊 Breakfast was delightful, especially the sourdough. Only drawback was the room's tired decor. Overall a great stay!

The room had a nice view, but it was pretty cold . One of the staff even brought a heater from home, super nice. If you're tall, avoid room 7-it's got a sloping roof, made it tricky to move around. The shower had good pressure, and the bathroom was clean with fresh towels, but the whole room felt a bit tired and could use some updates.

Lovely spot by the sea!

We stayed 4 nights in the lighthouse apartment, and wow, what a surprise! It was such a cool place, spacious and comfy. Breakfast was fab, especially for my gluten-free needs. Just a heads up, we did run into a weird bill at the end, but the staff fixed it fast. A great stay!

The views from my room were fine. The staff were attentive. Breakfast was delicious, especially the sourdough. The location by the sea was perfect for exploring.

The sourdough served at breakfast was a true delight, golden and crispy with a perfect balance of chewiness! The staff were super friendly, and the excellent location right by the sea.

The Harbour House Sea Front Hotel features charming old-world decor and lovely sea views from common areas. The staff's warm hospitality further enhanced my enjoyable stay.

More senior-friendly seating options would be appreciated.

Had an amazing stay with fine views from our room and delicious meals, especially the seafood. The breakfast selection was great, definitely worth another visit!
